Nicole Elaine
Nicole discovered yoga as a teenager and practiced on and off for about 18 years before realizing that aspects of her yoga practice hurt her body rather than helped it. Plagued with low back and SI joint issues, along with other joint and foot pain, Nicole returned to the most basic foundation of yoga- awareness and breath. From there, she slowly reintroduced each pose only after careful consideration and understanding. Out of this deliberate process she found a renewed sense of discernment and depth, not just for yoga but for self-awareness and personal growth. Her approach to yoga mixes stimulating flow, calming breathwork, outer perception, and inner discovery. Nicole seeks to provide a place of learning and self exploration to guide the practitioner back to themselves.
Nicole lives in Asheville with her partner, 3 kids, and 2 cats. When not teaching yoga, she enjoys playing music and singing, discovering new foods through creative cooking, and crafting costumes.
