You don’t finish the path. You continue it.

In Sanskrit, sat means truth, and sangha means gathering.

Satsang is the meeting of the two: coming together in truth. These monthly online gatherings offer us space to reconnect with what’s most authentic and true in us, and collectively explore a variety of topics. It is a space for 200-hour alumni and current 300-hour students and alumni to stay connected to practice, learning, and one another.

Training opens a door, and life keeps moving after that door is opened. Questions arise, confidence shifts, and new layers of understanding appear over time. These Satsangs were created to provide yoga teachers with a steady place to land within that unfolding.

Each month we gather with AYC faculty to explore the inner side of practice and teaching: voice, purpose, presence, and the lived experience of yoga beyond technique.

This space is for:

200-hour and 300hr alumni who want to stay rooted in community

Current 300hr trainees integrating what they are learning

If you have a topic in mind you’d like to explore during a monthly Satsang, please feel free to email Grace Izzo at grace@youryoga.com.

June Satsang Online Webinar

Skillful Action through the Lens of the Bhagavad Gītā

With Suzanne Martin and Grace Izzo

Online | Thursday, June 11, 2026

12:30–1:30 PM ET

The Bhagavad Gītā opens in a moment of paralysis. Arjuna, facing an impossible situation, lays down his bow — overwhelmed, uncertain, unable to act. It is precisely here that Krishna begins to teach.

Many of us know this feeling. We sense a call to act — in our teaching, our communities, our lives — and yet find ourselves caught between urgency and exhaustion, conviction and doubt.

In this satsang, we’ll turn to the Gītā’s central teaching of karma yoga: action rooted in clarity, offered without grasping at outcomes. Suzanne will guide an exploration of what it means to act skillfully in today’s world — not from reactivity or depletion, but from steadiness and inner alignment.

Through reflection and shared inquiry, we’ll consider: What is mine to do? And how do I do it well?

This gathering is open to all current and graduated 300-hour students and 200-hour alumni. Zoom link provided upon registration.

July Satsang Online Webinar

The Language of Teaching: Refining Sequencing & Cueing

With Paige Gilchrist and Grace Izzo

Online | Tuesday, July 14, 2026

1–2 PM ET

Sequencing and cueing are at the heart of effective yoga teaching, shaping not only what students do, but how they experience their practice.

In this satsang, Paige will guide an exploration of the art and craft of sequencing and cueing. We’ll explore how cueing can help students feel more embodied and supported in their practice.

This is an opportunity to step back from autopilot teaching patterns and reconnect with the “why” behind how we guide students.Together, we’ll reflect on questions such as: How do we build intelligent, coherent sequences? What makes a cue truly land? And how can we support students without over-directing their experience?

Through discussion and shared inquiry, we’ll refine our understanding of sequencing and cueing as living skills that continue to evolve with practice and attention.

This gathering is open to all current and graduated 300-hour students and 200-hour alumni. Zoom link provided upon registration.
