In Sanskrit, sat means truth, and sangha means gathering.
Satsang is the meeting of the two: coming together in truth. These monthly online gatherings offer us space to reconnect with what’s most authentic and true in us, and collectively explore a variety of topics. It is a space for 200-hour alumni and current 300-hour students and alumni to stay connected to practice, learning, and one another.

Deepen your yoga practice, presence, and appreciation for life
Empower your voice, sense of self-worth, and creativity
Learn to teach vivid, impactful yoga classes with skill & imagination in your own sincere way
Connect, thrive, and be uplifted by a community of fellow seekers
Training opens a door, and life keeps moving after that door is opened. Questions arise, confidence shifts, and new layers of understanding appear over time. These Satsang were created to provide yoga teachers with a steady place to land within that unfolding.
Each month we gather with AYC faculty to explore the inner side of practice and teaching: voice, purpose, presence, and the lived experience of yoga beyond technique.
This space is for:
200-hour and 300hr alumni who want to stay rooted in community
Current 300hr trainees integrating what they are learning
If you have a topic in mind you’d like to explore during a monthly Satsangha, please feel free to email Grace Izzo at grace@youryoga.com.
March 200/300hr Satsang
With Rosie Mulford & Grace Izzo
Online | Tuesday, March 10, 2025
11:00am–12:00pm ET
If self-doubt has ever surfaced in your teaching, your practice, or your life, this satsang is for you. Imposter syndrome and critical inner voices can quietly shape how we show up and how we see ourselves.
Together we will explore these inner narratives through gentle self-inquiry, discovering where they come from and whether they are still serving you. Through discussion and experiential practices, we will practice softening self-criticism, reframing limiting stories, and meeting the inner critic with greater understanding.
Expect reflection, connection, and a supportive space to share with others walking a similar path. This is an interactive session, and attending live offers the most benefit. All registrants will receive the recording.
Open to all current and graduated 300-hour students and 200-hour alumni.
April 200/300hr Satsang
With Joe Taft & Grace Izzo
Online | Thursday, April 16, 2025
11:00am–12:00pm ET
If you have ever felt disconnected from your body, your nervous system, or your natural capacity to heal, this gathering will meet you there. Each of us carries a well of healing intelligence within.
We will explore the idea of the inner pharmacy, the body’s ability to regulate, repair, and restore itself. Through an accessible introduction to yoga therapy, we will look at what it means to be in the body from both a biomechanical and mental health perspective. Together we will consider how mindful movement, awareness, and relationship with the nervous system help us reconnect with our own healing potential.
Expect reflection, conversation, and practical tools to bring this understanding into your teaching, practice, and daily life. Attend live for the fullest experience. Recordings will be shared with all who register.
Open to all current and graduated 300-hour students and 200-hour alumni.
May 200/300hr Satsang
With Michael Johnson & Grace Izzo
Online | Tuesday, May 12, 2025
4:00–5:00pm ET
If you have wanted to bring more depth and meaning into your classes while keeping the language natural and accessible, this satsang will support you. This gathering is a place to ask real questions and explore practical ways to bring the wisdom of yoga to students.
We will look at how to integrate philosophical insights into teaching without sounding scripted, and how to meet the common challenges teachers face when bringing philosophy to the mat.
Expect thoughtful discussion, Q&A, and time to reflect with other teachers on a similar journey. Attend live for the richest experience. Recordings will be shared with all registrants.
Open to all current and graduated 300-hour students and 200-hour alumni.
No. This space is for your personal path first.
It is a community gathering centered on reflection, dialogue, and lived practice.
Yes. All alumni are welcome.
We encourage folks to attend live if possible as these sessions are interactive. We do send out recordings after the live session ends so you can register even if you cannot attend live.
If you have a particular topic you would like to see covered during a future Satsangha, please feel free to email Grace Izzo at grace@youryoga.com with your topic idea.
