Grace Izzo
Hello! I’m Grace (she/her). I have been fascinated by Yoga, contemplative practices, and all things mystical since I can remember.
The most influential trainings I have taken include a 200-hour LifePower Yoga Teacher Training (2018), Jennifer Kreatsoulas’ Yoga for Eating Disorders Teacher Training and Mentoring Group (2023), and Oxygen Advantage’s Advanced Training with Tiger Bye (2024), a 200-hour Yoga Teacher training from Asheville Yoga Center, and a 300-hour yoga teacher training from Asheville Yoga Center, where I continue deepening my knowledge and practice. I am deeply grateful for the many wonderful teachers who have supported me on this journey.
My teaching style is informed my by exploration and study of a variety of Yoga lineages, including Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Katonah, Power, Yin, Bhakti, and Restorative, my background as a classically trained ballet dancer, as well as other healing practices such as qigong, reiki, and sound healing.
In addition to my public classes, I enjoy offering yoga and breath coaching to private clients (specializing in athletes), teaching in clinical settings, and offering sound healing. You can learn more about working with me through my website, www.yogawgrace.com.
When I’m not practicing or teaching, you can find me doing aerial arts, climbing, dancing, and being quiet in nature.
