Asheville Yoga Center Raises Funds & Hosts Adoption Day for Dogs, Cats, & Critters in Despair
Asheville Yoga Center selects Brother Wolf Animal Rescue as July 2018 Charity of the Month
Asheville Yoga Center has chosen Brother Wolf Animal Rescue as its July Charity of the Month. Brother Wolf works with volunteers in the community to provide food, shelter, and forever homes for animals in the community on a mission toward a no-kill Asheville.
All month long, AYC will have donation boxes stationed at the AYC Studio and Boutique for guests to directly contribute funds, and on Thursday, July 19, 10% of drop-in and community class sales will be donated to Brother Wolf. AYC will also donate $250.
“We realize the love and therapeutic healing that owning a pet can provide, and we appreciate the importance of finding great homes for animals in the community,” says Melissa Pennscott, General Manager of Asheville Yoga Center. “We are thrilled to have Brother Wolf as our Charity of the Month, and we look forward to supporting their furry friends!”
Since 2007, Brother Wolf has worked to create a no-kill community for animals in Asheville. The grassroots organization includes an Adoption Center in Asheville, that’s home to up to 100 dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens at any given time, and local volunteers help to foster homeless animals until they are matched with their perfect owner.
