Kundalini Teacher Training Staff
Gurudass Kaur has been a Kundalini Yoga student, and teacher since 1972 and co-founded the first Kundalini Yoga center in Barcelona, Spain in 1978. She had the privilege of studying directly with the Master of Kundalini Yoga, Yogi Bhajan from 1972 until his passing in 2004. She lived in Barcelona for 25 years where she taught Kundalini Yoga and held teacher training courses. After moving back to the United States she now travels internationally offering Level I and Level II Kundalini Teacher Training programs.
Sierra Hollister has been sharing Kundalini Yoga in Asheville, at the behest of her Maha Guru, Yogi Bhajan, since 1995. Sierra, named Ong Kar by her teacher, considers herself to be a Yoga Universalist, one who loves all the paths of Yoga. Blessed and inspired by many wonderful teachers and traditions, the truth is that her children and husband are her greatest teachers. While daily time on her yoga mat is essential, Sierra also believes very strongly in the yoga of action on behalf of the health of our Earth and feels there is no greater calling. As long as the planet is in jeopardy, there can be no true spiritual evolution for any of us. As much as yoga is time on our mat, yoga is also about how we live our lives, how we treat others and the choices we make. Sierra’s classes will not only make you feel wonderful, inside and out, they will restore, revitalize and inspire you for life off the mat. Sierra is a Lead Instructor for Asheville Yoga Center's 200-hour Teacher Training Programs.
