Asheville Yoga Center
Asheville Yoga Center is one of the most popular yoga schools in the Southeast. Our foundational programs are designed to enhance your personal knowledge, deepen your practice and provide you with the confidence and skills necessary to safely experience or teach yoga.
We offer three types of event:
- Yoga workshops (non-certification events)
- 200 Hour RYT training courses
- 300 Hour certified training courses (Advanced Study and Therapeutically-Oriented)
Indu Arora is a Master Yoga Teacher & Yoga Therapist, Ayurvedic Clinician, Healer and Author, with more than 14 years of teaching experience. She is director of Yogsadhna since 2005 and the Membership Director of Association of Ayurvedic Professionals of Northern America.
She has a Doctorate in Alternate Medicine (MD) and Awarded with Yoga Shiromani and Yoga Bhaskar. She has a Grand Parenting E-500 T-500 from Yoga Alliance and is registered Yoga Therapist. Indu Arora is pursuing PhD. in Metaphysical Sciences from University of Metaphysical Sciences, CA.
Awarded with the titles: “Rishi Award~ Sage” for Excellence in Teaching Meditation”, “Hind-Ratna~Gem of India”, “Ray of Hope”, “Yoga Ratna ~ Jewel of Yoga” for Yoga, Meditation and Ayurveda.
Indu Arora globally initiated the 200 Hour Ayurveda Parichaya (Ayurveda for Self-Health Care) Training on the models of Government of India (AYUSH), approved by AAPNA. She holds 200 Hour Level and 500 Hour level Advanced Yoga Therapy program (approved by Yoga Alliance and as a member school of International Association of Yoga Therapists) since 2012 in Hungary and North America.
She has authored several articles on Yoga, Meditation, Yoga Therapy and Ayurveda globally sand is the author of “Yoga: Ancient Heritage Tomorrow Vision” and “Mudra: The Sacred Secret.”
Her philosophy is “Nothing has the greatest Power to heal, But SELF.”
300 Hour Advanced Studies Teacher Training Modules
Choose 11 modules in total from these four categories:
- Pick at least one 3-day course
- Pick at least one 4-day course
- Pick at least one 5-day Intensive
- Pick the remaining eight courses from any of the four categories (weekend, 3-day, 4-day, or 5-day*)
*You must complete 11 separate modules for graduation. Most modules offered multiple times per year.
