All yoga instructors will encounter pregnant women in their yoga classes. Empower yourself with this weekend training devoted to the unique life stages of pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum.
Learn the tools needed to guide pregnant bodies through a healthy yoga practice. Prenatal yoga incorporates stretching, mental centering and focused breathing to encourage a state of peace and balance within the body. Practicing yoga while pregnant may help prevent the common discomforts of pregnancy while preparing the body for childbirth by stretching and strengthening the lower back, abdominal and pelvic floor muscles and opening the hips and sacrum. Learn about contraindicated poses, modifications, hands-on adjustments, and poses to support a positive birth experience. Discover poses that provide relief for common pregnancy ailments and learn how to sequence classes to support pregnant and postpartum mothers.
Whether you are a yoga teacher, a mommy-to-be, or a doula, you will learn the keys to an ideal yoga practice for pregnant bodies.

300 Hour Advanced Studies Teacher Training Modules
Choose 11 modules in total from these four categories:
- Pick at least one 3-day course
- Pick at least one 4-day course
- Pick at least one 5-day Intensive
- Pick the remaining eight courses from any of the four categories (weekend, 3-day, 4-day, or 5-day*)
*You must complete 11 separate modules for graduation. Most modules offered multiple times per year.
