Hot Flow Five Day Intensive
Flow yoga is one of the fastest emerging forms of yoga in the West arising from the tree of Krisnamacharya’s lineage of Ashtanga, Iyengar and Viniyoga. This teacher’s intensive will focus on both the theory and practice of flow yoga, as practiced in a HOT setting (80 degrees and higher). We will review the underlying principles of practice and alignment, as well as the pros and cons of practicing in a HOT environment. We will also incorporate the integration of pranayama, bandhas and asana, creative sequencing and adjustments, the cultivation of meditation, and tools for embodying the flow in practice, teaching and in daily life.
This teacher’s intensive has a three-tiered purpose to:
- Provide tools for teaching HOT Yoga in both vinyasa (flow) style classes as well as Yin (restorative) type classes.
- Deepen one’s personal practice as a laboratory for exploring the creative potential of HOT Flow.
- Focus on how to embody the flow in daily life with the rhythms of teaching.
Hot Three Week Immersion
Our Hot Three-Week Immersion is an intense experience of living, breathing, sweating, and dreaming hot yoga! Through the guidance of an expert faculty, our 200 Hour program helps future yoga instructors and those simply looking to deepen their practice to grow their confidence and expand their knowledge of yoga.
