Andie has her Bachelor of Arts in theatre performance and studied film at Louisiana State University. She believes in the connection that is born of authentic human experience. Andie uses acting, filmmaking and the practice of yoga to create platforms that cultivate a collaborative and ultimately, more sustainable way of being.
Andie completed her 200-hour teacher training at Asheville Yoga Center, and received her First Degree of Reiki under the tutelage of Mary Goslen. She has taken continuing education in MindBody Centering Yoga with Nina Be, and completed social justice and leadership training through Off The Mat, Into the World. She’s grateful to have learned from Hala Khouri, Kerri Kelly, Reverend Angel Kyodo Williams, Michelle Cassandra Johnson and the wonderful teachers at AYC.
Using flowing postures and nourishing pranayama techniques, Andie emphasizes physical healing, mental clarity and emotional wellness. As a teacher, she fosters a supportive atmosphere where students can get radically present with themselves, so that they can use their personal practice of self-inquiry to compassionately show up for collective wholeness. Soulful savasana and beautifully eclectic playlists always guaranteed!
