Katie has been a student of yoga for over a decade, taking her practice locally and internationally. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Yoga Teacher, and blends her training to create a nourishing and rejuvenating flow. Katie also completed a teacher training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) at the Mindful Academy in Southern Spain. Her classes combine mindfulness meditation with a vigorous flow that focuses on body and mind awareness, accessible to beginners and seasoned yogis. Outside of the studio, Katie takes her teaching into the mountains and leads yoga for adolescents in her role as a Wilderness Therapist for Trails Carolina.
