WARM Ashtanga Mix
Ashtanga Mix is based on the classical 1st series of Ashtanga, with other options thrown in, sometimes including postures from 2nd or 3rd series, (which means more inversions, arm balances and back bends). This class is a sun salute based practice, requiring some strength and deep breathing abilities while incorporating traditional yoga postures, inversions, and some dynamic movement. All levels are welcome, although a flow background (sun salutes or power yoga) can be helpful.
WARM classes allow the body's tissues to soften more deeply, as the room is kept between 80-89 degrees.
