Meet Our 300 Hour Advanced Studies Instructors
Seek your mentors. Find your guides. Grow into the teacher you are meant to become. Our teacher trainers are among some of the most accomplished instructors in the southeast. Many have trained in the Vinyasa style under Stephanie Keach, while others have pursued training in various modalities ranting from alignment-based systems to Kundalini. No matter the lineage, AYC teacher trainers are committed to providing a well-rounded curriculum and education.
Sara began teaching yoga in 2007 in San Francisco. She is a 500 hour Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance and is trained in vinyasa, restorative, prenatal, yoga for aging adults, injury rehabilitation, and illness and disease management. Her specialty is Slow Flow which combines breath awareness and deep stretch with clear and slow explanation of poses and body alignment.
Sara’s classes combine a love of restorative yoga, deep, alignment-focused vinyasa, and therapeutic movement. In her classes, expect to play with unique poses and sequence and to explore a methodic approach towards more advanced poses. Come for good music, laughter, breathe and sweat. In Slow Power Flow, we incorporate advanced options, including some core work, in a warm room. In Slow Gentle Flow, we have a stretchy good time, unwinding after a long day. Come create space in your compact life. Sara is also a Lead Instructor for Asheville Yoga Center's 300-hour Advanced Training Programs. www.saralevineyoga.com
